Texas Gates stands behind the work we do. This page explains the workmanship warranty we provide and how manufacturer warranties apply to the equipment we install.

Workmanship Warranty

We warrant our own labor against defects in workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of service on repairs, and for one (1) year from the date of completion on new gate and gate-operator installations. If a problem covered by this warranty results from our work during the applicable period, we will correct it at no charge for labor.

Manufacturer Warranties

Gate operators, access-control systems, and related equipment carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer — including brands such as LiftMaster, Viking, Apollo, CellGate, and DoorKing. These warranties commonly range from one to five years depending on the product and how it is used. We will help you document and pursue a valid manufacturer warranty claim on equipment we installed.

What Is Covered

• Defects in the workmanship of repairs and installations we perform.
• Failure of components we installed when used normally and as intended.

What Is Not Covered

• Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, vehicle impact, vandalism, or forced entry.
• Power surges, lightning, flooding, storms, corrosion, or other acts of nature.
• Modifications, adjustments, or repairs performed by anyone other than Texas Gates.
• Failure to perform recommended maintenance.
• Normal wear items such as batteries, remotes, and finish weathering.
• Pre-existing conditions or the prior work of others.

Maintenance

A gate is a mechanical system exposed to the elements and to daily use. Periodic maintenance keeps it running and protects your warranty; neglect that leads to a failure may void coverage. We are happy to set up a maintenance schedule for your gate.

How to Make a Claim

Call us at (346) 872-8671 with your service address and a description of the issue. We will schedule an inspection, confirm coverage, and make it right.

Coverage

This warranty applies to the original customer at the service address where the work was performed, unless otherwise agreed in writing. It is the entire warranty provided by Texas Gates and replaces any other expressed or implied.
