Long gravel drives and no nearby power are the norm off FM 1488, FM 2978, and Highway 105. We install solar operators with battery capacity sized to the gate’s weight and daily cycles — the most common failure we see on ranch gates is a solar panel too small for a gate too heavy. Sandy soil east of Conroe and clay west of Tomball call for different post depths; we’ve set both. On properties with cattle or horses, we build entries with hardware livestock can’t nose open.
